Kiran, a 35 years old single mother, belongs to a very poor family and was married at the age 18. She has 3 children, two girls and one boy. Her husband doesn’t have a regular source of income and is involved in seasonal labour, such as at marriages. She was struggling to provide education and a comfortable life to her children and for peace in her marital life, which was missing due to heavy financial crises. She joined the beautician course in 2022 under the SAMARTH scheme at PVTRI. After successfully completing this training, she started work from home and recently got a beautician’s job in the town’s famous PAYAL BEAUTY PARLOUR. She is now successfully supporting her family by earning a minimum monthly income of Rs. 10000/-.
