The Diesel Mechanic trade under CTS is one of the popular courses delivered nationwide through a network of ITIs. The course is of one-year duration. After passing out of the training programme, the trainee is awarded the National Trade Certificate (NTC) by DGT, which is recognized worldwide.

Course Features

During the course in the Mechanic Diesel trade, a candidate is trained in professional skills &knowledge, and employability skills related to job roles. The trainee will be able to dismantle Diesel Engine of LMV as per given standard procedures, achieve necessary skills of overhauling of cylinder head, valve train, piston, connecting rod assembly, crankshaft, flywheel and mounting flanges, spigot and bearings, camshaft etc. and practice reassembling all parts of the engine in correct sequence as per the workshop manual, including testing an engine. The trainee will also practice repair and maintenance of cooling, lubrication, intake and exhaust systems of Engines, maintenance of diesel fuel system, FIP, Governor and monitor emission of vehicle, and repair, maintenance and overhaul of starter, alternator and execute troubleshooting of engine of LMV/HMV.

Aspirants can apply through E- mitra by using his/her SSO ID and online link created by Directorate of Technical Education, Government o Rajasthan. DTE, Rajasthan asks candidates to apply online.

Students who wish to apply for ITI admission, need to check the complete information on this page. Candidates need to meet the eligibility conditions before the Rajasthan ITI registration process. The eligible candidates must submit the application form online before the last date.

The authority will offer admission to the candidates on a merit basis. There is no entrance exam for Rajasthan ITIs. The selected candidates have to appear for the counselling process.
